The first movie had a great Nic Cage performance and this looks like it might be the first good Jim Carrey performance for god knows how long.

Some of the likenesses are decent, as in you could tell who they're supposed to be, but they're all still off even when they look like the character/actor. And the compositions are all really hideous and overcrowded. The guy could be a good artist if he worked at it, but it looks like he skipped several steps along the way and tried to just be a successful illustrator rather than taking the time to work up to doing complex compositions and finding a style to perfect. He just said "okay I'm pretty decent at making images on paper, let's just fire up Photoshop and do this and try to make money at it".
