Yeah, really. Same for TV disaster Gogglebox. I'm guessing they have a lot of time to fill that would previously have been used to broadcast Big Brother and its spin-off shows. I suppose it's either shows where they point cameras at people for no good reason or repeats of American sitcoms.

I'd rather have the sitcoms :\

The absence of any ScotRail footage was a bit odd. Maybe too much of the Scottish network just works so there was no good conflict to film.

The whole series was really well made, the last bit on the Highland line was just perfect.

Apparently they were the only operator (along with perhaps Cross Country who I notice weren't even mentioned despite visiting both Central and Waverley) who refused to take part: http://www.scotsman.com/lifestyle/tv-and-radio/anger-as-scotrail-snubs-bbc-railway-documentary-1-2846430

Its pretty drat good. Though cant see how a militia called the HVF would be tolerated by the government though, not 4 years after the end of the zombie uprising and rule put back into place.
They would have been asked to disarm or join the army surely, not allowed to rule over a lovely town.

Violent militias have been unofficially controlling sections of Belfast for decades. The show is a ridiculous concept, but I thought that part was actually quite believable.

They mentioned when that MP was there that the army didn't arrive and there was no help, so I'm guessing its got to the point where they want them to disarm, but don't want to upset the locals and aren't in a position to demand that. Plus the HVF seems to consist of a few people, I doubt they're a huge problem cus it's not as if they're in Central London. There's probably militias in other places, the war ends and it's too big a job to force them all to stand down.

He's not even been charged yet so they can't keep him in prison for more than a day or two at a time - though in reality I think on both occasions they've only held him for long enough to question him then released him on police bail.

Killertron is best remembered for being thrashed by a piece of cheese in series four.

Brilliant! Seems to back up what I heard too. I can't blame the teams either, those robots in the later series must have cost 1000's to make. I saw an advert for a new show on Syfy that seems to be robots fighting each other (real steel style). Will probably be crap but could satisfy that robot wars "machines beating the poo poo out of each other" itch.

I dunno, I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at a sketch as when I saw them literally rotating the board in the first sketch. After that it kind of became one of those sketches that are only there to be an in-joke with people who watch the show. The documentary sketch they did on its history was pretty fun though.
