After months of flailing about by myself I went with Mobileboo. Few other options other than arriving fluent. Better than arrival store or getting royally screwed by yourself, but if you can get someone worthwhile to help you you can do better. Also last I knew they fired their only English speaker. SK's English service is largely laughable as is there general service.

The KT global stores are actually pretty good, as is the general English service. Also, the one time I got wrong information at a store and contacted the general call center the girl said, verbatum, "yeah, that's bullshit; hang on" and proceeded to yell at people.

I'm also on KT and have had a good experience. Haven't had to contact their call centers, but the employees at their global store in Daegu all speak great english.

Thanks. I'm in Busan, I guess I'll look for a KT store nearby tomorrow. I only have like 150,000 on hand until monday, what would a decent smart phone set me back? Much more than that I'm guessing. If I were to buy a phone secondhand on Koreabridge or somewhere and have it activated for me, would that complicate things particularly? QUESTIONS WAAAAH Anyway, I'll go shopping after I go to the hospital to see if I need to get my hand amputated. The doctor said there was a 'low probability' of a cat having rabies, 'like lotto.' Most people don't buy the smartphone straight out, you spread out the cost as part of your bill. I have a bargain basement model with an unlimited data plan and it's 70K a month. I think even a fancypants iPhone runs like 100K a month if you do it that way.

My iPhone 5 is 80 a month. I have one of the largest LTE plans and the 5 is certainly one of the more expensive phones, so there are much cheaper options. If you want to get a second hand phone or do a takeover, Waygook has a subforum dedicated to that. Might look there.

I never payed February's utilities. Amid vacation I missed the due date, and when I took it to the bank to pay it I expected to pay some sort of late fee on top of the billed amount. Instead the teller pointed at the due date and refused to take any money. So I expected the February bill would include the January amount in it or something, but nope! I apparently skipped a month without a penalty. I wonder how many months I could skip before it would bite me.

Yeah, I don't get how they do bills here, I missed Feb since I was TDY and my march bills were all normal. I went to pay at my landlord and he said something about 'It'll be in a later bill'. They can't be tallying and crediting accounts manually right? That's crazy talk.

I figured out where all the drafts are coming from. When whoever, half assed and drunkenly, designed these windows they left huge gaps between the windows. All sliding windows I've seen have been like this. Has anyone had any luck fixing the gaps so that we don't get tons of dust and filthy air inside the apartment? Anyone have any reasonable suggestions? (Already offered: duct tape, tinfoil, blankets, fire)

If it's between the wall and the window frame, use the expanding foam but go easy on it, you only want to fill the gaps not jack the window out of the frame. If it's like my glass windows and the tops don't close all the way or something just find the solid foam stuff they use for door sils to make a seal. Can find it at the local Hardware Adjushii mart.

You can get avacados in EMart I've been told.
