Yep don't worry our best batsmen are still to come (i.e. the bowlers).

He has that cuntish "gently caress you, I'm not getting out to you" attitude Steve Waugh had. Pity he doesn't have the talent to match, but we'll take whatever we can get atm.

Nothing wrong with that attitude at all. It'd be nice if the actual players in the team supposedly chosen for their batting protected their wicket though.

They lost six in a row to the West Indies in 1984, don't know if that's the longest though.

I can't remember where I heard this but I remember seeing a quote years ago that said 'the purpose of English cricket is to beat Australia'.

So I'll take this victory Mr Terrist.

Oh so English cricket has historically failed at its purpose.

EDIT

Although England can actually go ahead in Ashes series wins if they win the next two which is probably likely. Still 20 tests behind in wins though.

Why does the cricinfo commentator keep on asking if this will be Tendulakar's last test in India? It should be his last test period because he is loving awful and has been for like 3 years.

I guess he wants to play 2 more tests to get to 200 but gently caress these last few pathetic years have tarnished his legacy.

I guess they'll tee up a tour of Bangladesh or something and use some highway as a pitch so he can finish with a mediocre hundred.

Sort of on the fence at the moment I think, if you don't get any wickets soon you will be bowling for the declaration.

Wouldn't you want to win the test series out of anything? With the Ashes coming up.
