I did a two hour trip yesterday doing a tour of every shop I could find just to avoid paying eShop prices on Luigi's Mansion 2 and Lego City Undercover. I FINALLY found somewhere selling them at retail and it was worth it to get them so much cheaper. I was starting to think they weren't getting a retail release and were eShop only!

At that point though, are you not spending more money on petrol (not to mention the time spent) than you would have spent on the eShop versions?

Personally I wonder where he lives because every retailer's Wii U/3DS section is absolutely dominated by Nintendo everywhere and I can't imagine it being hard to find a copy of Luigi's Mansion. Just order online next time.

I didn't spend more money on petrol than on the difference because I was in the area for a couple of shops anyway, and the others were only a short distance from my house when I got back. I saved about £28 over the two games compared to eShop AND I get to have physical copies of the games.

No idea if the Swapnote patch is hitting NA this week... it's not on the press release. Hmm. Toki Tori 2 already has a bunch of reviews, mostly very positive, with the only real complaints hinging on whether people could/couldn't accept the new format (original games were level-based, this one's a metroidvania).

There's a new firmware update available for 3DS - it's just a fix to keep further updates from bricking the hardware like the last one did.

Wasn't it announced a while back that the challenge mode or something from Rayman Legends is coming to the eShop for free this month? Was there ever an exact date released? I'm really looking forward to it. (And I hope Europe gets it at the same time as the US)

NA dudes, your new Club Nintendo digital rewards are up: Super Mario 64 (Wii VC) - 200 Coins Super Metroid (Wii VC) - 150 Coins Kirby's Pinball Land (3DS VC) - 150 Coins 3D Classics Urban Champion (3DS eShop) - 150 Coins Remember, Super Metroid is going to be the Wii U VC Trial game in a month or two, so if you own a Wii U you're better off just waiting for the Wii U version and then buying it for 30c. Under no circumstances should anyone download Urban Champion. PaletteSwappedNinja fucked around with this message at 04:01 on Apr 9, 2013 |

Anyway, how many times has Urban Champion been put up now? 6 Times or something? Its getting old. And Kirby's Pinball Land, if you like Pinball consider it, but otherwise don't unless you absolutely need to own every Kirby game. Its an alright game but its certainly something you should try out before buying it.

I've had Super Metroid on the Wii VC since it was first available, as well as Super Mario 64, so I guess my coins will continue to not be used. I hope they release some other ridiculously overpriced reward in the near future, because I already have the two Game & Watch DS games and the Ball reproduction.

I don't know why so many of the G&W games have never been re-released. Like Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros. and that game that was just called ZELDA are nowhere to be found.

I love G&W Ball, its just a neat thing to have honestly. absolutely anything posted:Also, despite having "Kirby" in the title, Kirby's Pinball Land is stupidly loving hard. Had to use Restore points almost constantly just to see the ending. Turns out there wasn't an ending after DeDeDe and it just throws you back to the beginning with all the tables reset.
