They also did Bloody Pit of Horror and Ghost Rider (the short about bus safety). My only problem is they take forever to release videos since it's a full-out show, and they've pretty much switched to shorts only.

Breaker Breaker is not nearly as good/insane as McBain or Buffalo Rider but it has some great jokes and really has the feel of a classic MST3K episode. Very much recommended.

Rifftrax Twilight Journal: New Moon Only just now did I realize the Bella/Bela reference and shouted loud enough to weird out the neighbors "OH, gently caress YOU, MOVIE!" edit: The amount of heroin required to make these movies watchable on their own would make Lugosi say "Ok, I think you've had enough now." I'm pretty sure the phantom armadillo from the first one is also a reference to the 1931 movie, and you can't convince me otherwise.

Ok, finished my power through of the Twilight Rifftrax "Saga". Things I liked about the movies themselves: 1)Michael Sheen. I can't help but love him, he's so deliciously hammy when the situation calls for it. 2)That big fight at the end of the series was pretty kickass up until the "gently caress YOU" reveal. Things I liked about the riffs? Pretty much everything. And total agreement with the final "Line?" segment, I was laughing like a loon.

The best part is easily when we're three movies deep Evil Harpo tells his civil war story and then has a really bad and infrequent southern accent for the rest of the movies.

I think Breaker Breaker could have been salvaged if the people involved were aware of the true backwoods horror happening in the movie. By the time yet another greasy hillbilly was trying to murder Chuck Norris with a piece of rusty farm equipment, I wasn't sure if the script originally started as The Hills Have Eyes.

As much as I love that they're getting this movie out for a wider audience, I feel about it the same way some of y'all feel about "The Room"... the Rifftrax seems redundant because the movie is so funny and strange on its own. I'm still gonna buy it though, and I hope this sets a trend of doing Cannon Films titles.

Deadpool posted:The trailer is amazing. Haha, that looks hilarious. The wikipedia article has a great quote from it: Evel Knievel posted:“Before I make the jump, there’s something I’d like to say to you, that’s been bothering me for a long time. I go to Indianapolis every year to see the Indy 500. I go there with friends to drive and race. Every year when they go there to qualify, they usually have to go as fast as they possibly can to get a front row position. They put nitro in their cars sometimes, instead of the fuel that is intended to be in the cars so that the cars will go faster…and they do, for five or ten laps. And then they blow all to hell. And you people, you kids, if you put nitro in your bodies in the form of narcotics, so that you can do better, or so that maybe you think that you can do better, you will for about five or ten years, and then you’ll blow all to hell.” That's not just some 70s drug PSA shoehorned in by the way, one of Knievel's trademarks in real life was making speeches like that before his jumps. Another one of his trademarks was going through with jumps that he thought were unsafe because "When you give your word to somebody that you're going to do something, you've gotta do it."
