They could have at least put in the poo poo heap 3.4 DOHC, that way it would be more prone to random poo poo breaking/not running boat anchor.

It's very popular among rappers and the hip hop crowd in general. LV, Gucci and Burberry end up plaster on car interiors all the time if you have the money.

1987 BMW 325i Convertible M3 project - $2500 (albany)

Up for sale is my E30 M3 convertible project. Last summer this was my daily driver, a few months back I purchased a wrecked e30 M3 shell and used the parts for this project. M3 rear quarter panels have already welded on and front fenders have been put on. You can drive this project home. I no longer have room for it, so it has to go. The M3 parts are not cheap, and very hard to source. I will not part anything out at this point.

1987 325i Convertible
clean oregon title
2.5L M20, Automatic
Completely Stock when i got it
250K miles
Runs and drives great. Was my daily driver for a while, and i drove it do Eugene and portland all the time.
brand new: timing belt, water pump, belts, hoses, coolant sensor, front brake pads, all with receipts
interior needs a little work. fronts seats are split at bolsters etc.

All OEM e30 m3 parts:

Rear quarters (already welded on)
front fenders (drivers side is a little rough, but totally fixable)
Side Skirts
Rear Bumper
Front bumper (needs lots of work)
some other various pieces

also have a wingless trunk lid with no holes

Would be interested in a trade. Maybe a solid daily driver E30 or a motorcycle. But would entertain other offers as well.

My dad was real big into 81/82 Corolla wagons (just like that one) for a long time and he must have owned 6-7 of them over the years. Two of them ended up being hand me downs that I owned as a teen and drove for about 5 years. There is nothing special nor badass about them. They were certainly better built and designed a Citation or an Escort from that time period, but I don't see any appeal in them. The manual transmissions were geared low enough that they would launch like a bat out of hell and had great 0-40 times, and they could really fly though deep mud or huge deep puddles if you had a good run because they were light enough not to sink down. I guess if you wanted to buy it to beat the poo poo out if it, it would be fun, but as a daily driver, I think you'd be better off putting that $3000 into something else.

There are a few more than that (though he might be referring to it being one of the only 2.2L models in NA) but they share a lot of parts with various GM vehicles.
