This cartoon is good because it really well captures how much of a gleeful oval office Cameron is. He's depicted just being a massive prick for absolutely no reason! Look at his moderate mirth!

Yeah that was tomorrows (well todays now! ) Telegraph cartoon it seems. Guardian: Indy: Express: Wheres the bird? :o And still no MAC cartoon. I'm worried that I will regret for keep going on that he does them so rarely all of a sudden (only point it out as his cartoons tend to rip into 'slackers' and skivers etc).

Bird is below Kim's hand. Two of the bobbles form his eyes, they have little balls in them for the pupils. A cleverly hidden job, I'd say.

How come both Miliband here and Cameron usually appear almost as if pregnant? Weirdly cut suit or just generally loathsome bodyform?

Deleuzionist posted:How come both Miliband here and Cameron usually appear almost as if pregnant? Weirdly cut suit or just generally loathsome bodyform? A bit of both I think. The suits are not weirdly cut or being worn wrong, but doing up that one button like that pulls them in a bit at the waist and will emphasize any gut below. I quite like the Indy cartoonist, he's pretty derivative of Bell and Rowson but you can see he's trying to keep alive the traditions of repulsive-looking cariacatures and references to older works. A+ for effort and he usually makes a decent point, maybe one day he'll come into his own.

Guardian: Officials in Washington have dismissed the threat of a nuclear strike against the US as bluster by North Korea's leader. Chris Riddell on the prime minister's adherence to a nuclear defence policy. Telegraph: Indy: From what I read, Labour instead of challenging the Tories, they are playing the Tory game of "who can bash the benefits the most" since the Tories said labour were soft. I'm not sure Bell's cartoon really sits all that well with me. I get the idea but it just washes as a little classist. Also will someone please take Riddell's black pencil away from him.

Cloud Potato posted:Telegraph: (or is it tomorrow's?) Pretty sure the line here is how Cameron's fear-mongering over NK proves that we desperately need TRIDENT, thus striking a crippling blow to the independence movement that wants nuclear disarmament because we'd rather spend the money on infrastructure, jobs, and people's wellbeing. It's an idiotic argument anyway, but it's always nice to see that sweaty-sock jock bigotry alive and well.
