Is this still otto cycle with strait water in place of water/methanol injection, or are we talking 6 stroke crower cycle?
Still a regular 4 stroke (I guess). You just need to program your ECU to take advantage of the increased compression when the injectors are active.

Fun fact, the Saab 99 Turbo S had water injection as factory standard. A lot of ww2 warplanes also had water injection for extra power on takeoff.

I went to an Audi event at Summit Point today. It was pretty cool. Regrettably, regardless of how great they may be since 2006 (which is when they claimed major improvements at the spiel today), Audi in the 90s and early 00s was poo poo, and that's still the era from which I buy my toy cars.

Video of an 2014 R8 on the Shanendoah Course. My camera-man didn't realize turning the camera sideways for a better view would screw up the orientation for viewers. This is the first time I've ever been on a track, so, please withhold your judgement.

They are fun and really handy little trucks for hauling motorcycles with the low bed height. The diesels are slow as hell but still awesome.

Here's my old track rat E30 and the VW truck (1.5L diesel 40hp). I miss both of those and if I see a reasonably priced VW pickup I'll be buying another.

Scrodes and I went for an early spring jaunt yesterday. The new clutch I had installed last week needs to be broken in badly, it's almost undrivable from a stop. Once I get rolling it seems fine though.

Power seat was from a Chrysler Imperial, Mark Cross Edition. Power recline was the only bit that made it to the tractor. But, it was leather, with a fold-down armrest and pull-out cupholder. Fairly pimp for the troglodytes existing in 1992.

Holy poo poo I found a treasure trove of meatpimp's AI history. 1989 Hyundai Excel, 1992 SE-R, 1990 Honda Civic... all before 1992.

Used to be a euro 525i, apparently. I was just browsing another site and saw an album for "e28 S54" and clicked at the speed of light. Built by stancefactory in Toronto, apparently there's more info about it in the dec 2006 issue of performance BMW. Got me browsing kijiji for e28s now :v:

Goddamn what a beautiful car. I always forget how completely-stupid-in-love I am with the E28 until the next time I see one, which is probably a very good thing for my wallet. In high-school auto class we had to strip one out as a project one day for a BMW-nut substitute teacher (he had a gorgeous E32 750IL), and I flat out refused and spent the rest of the class period trying to convince him to let me buy it instead. I think I'll just leave a tab open with that picture for a while. . .
