This looks almost identical to the Dortmund's current home kit.
Even down to the black collar and black trim on the cuffs.

It's nice insofar as its not covered in logos, but honestly, it looks really loving boring. Definitely a kit designed to have sponsors on.

Honestly looks like a £5 addidas shirt I had when I was a kid (except not bright yellow). I don't mind a sponsorless kit but some just look plain without something in the middle.

So in reality it looks nothing like the £5 adidas shirt you had when you were a kid?

I don't get this criticism, between this and people who constantly moan that plain kits "May as well be a plain polo shirt" I don't know what the expectations really are for football shirts. Real Madrid are pretty famous for playing in all white.

The placement of the badges is obviously designed with the sponsor in mind, so without the sponsor it seems to be missing something. It still looks nice, just a bit plain.

I would think that design teams that get six-figure salaries would be able to come up with a halfway decent balance between simple/traditional and uniqueness in kits. The fact that some kit makers go way too far on either end of the spectrum is the main gripe at hand, I'd imagine.
