Actually, the "6" in "6x12" includes the rebate, so the image area is 56mm x 120mm, or 56mm x 117mm, depending on which back you're using. Either way just a little skinnier than 2:1. :spergin:

I went to Battersea Park today to keep myself occupied.

I've been experimenting with a different processing style after seeing some VCSO presets in action. I think I might have gone overboard with the grain.

These are all HDRs. I tried to make it less obvious because generally I think HDRs are tacky.

I actually really like this. Complete juxtaposition between the savage nature of the falls and the pedestrian, dull modernity of the car park (which frames the shot nicely with the barrier's horizontals and paved foreground). I reckon most people would have been tempted to zoom or crop the image in a way that removes the cars, but the fact is, the true view is a lot more interesting.

That better be a creme-filled rock.

Just a heads-up for the Landscapes thread... I saw the movie Chasing Ice tonight, which follows James Balog on his journey to document climate change - specifically melting glaciers in Iceland, Greenland, and Alaska. The film's message is good, but the landscape cinematography and photography by Balog himself is amazing.

It made me even more annoyed that I visited Jokulsarlon in horrible weather. There's one scene of him and his crew walking that shore in what looks like sideways-freezing-rain, and it reminded me of my visit :D
