I don't really care about the trailer spoiling anything; the bigger problem is that it doesn't seem to be distinguishing itself from the original in any worthwhile sense. It's aesthetically redundant.

Wow, I'm actually pretty upset that the Carrie movie is literally a nigh scene for scene remake of the original. I dig all of the casting choices but god drat, they could've did something somewhat original atleast.

She tends to surprise me. But I don't get the choice of Chloë Grace Moretz at all. She's just to pretty and graceful looking. I was hoping when the trailer came out that we'd see Chloë transform herself into something awkward and strange, but she doesn't seem to be bringing any of the necessary character acting to the role at all in this preview. Seeing AnnaLynne McCord in Excision pretty much ruined any chance in my mind of someone else pulling off a better Carrie. And why not cast a plain and awkward looking girl to play the role anyway?

Prometheus is on HBO now and watching it just reminded me of how crazy the ad campaign was for the movie. Mostly from how the trailers all prominently featured the scene where the Prometheus crashes into the Engineer spaceship which is almost the end of the movie.

As much as I enjoy Justin Bartha, that trailer actually made Doug sitting out loop back around to funny for me. Just John Goodman being all "We're taking this guy whose never in on your hijinks" like he knows what's up worked for me. I also enjoyed Phil making sure Alan got the photo of him dangling from the roof. I'm cautiously optimistic, I find it hard to believe they could waste that talent for a second time.
