What is even the point of putting a small pickup body on a full-size chassis (and drivetrain, presumably)? Weight savings are vanishingly small, the chassis is going to have the same track width, ground clearance and breakover angle (approach and departure don't look too promising in this case either), you can carry less gear and fewer passengers -- why even loving bother? I know the answer is "They're retards who will never take it off road anyway", but still. Now stuffing a full-size drivetrain into a compact truck, that I can get behind.

Two trucks taking up space in the yard, a rusted to gently caress Mazda frame and smashed up/rusted F-series body? Edit: Or a dare+beer.

The design of that U-joint yoke says Chevy/Dodge to me (Ford likes u-bolts and companion flanges, Dodge likes boxy deep yokes with straps, pretty sure Chevy does too), but I could be wrong. And who knows if the axle/yoke actually came from the same vehicle as the frame

Those rims cost thousands of dollars and people are killing for them. Also, that Celica up there reminds me of mini-trucks from the 90's.

No, the fact that you're not sure if the apostrophe was left out on purpose is the real concern depending on who is driving. Edit: it's always a concern because riding boys is illegal.

Not just a bed stack, but a hot pink bed stack, and those stupid KMC Rockstar wheels with the hideous center cap; now also painted pink. This was one of several trucks/SUV's that came together(they all had that turbo sticker in the rear window), but it was definitely the worst. When I lived in an apartment some old folks backed into my bumper TWICE and left indentations/creases in my rear bumper plastic. No notes. With the receiver on the truck, I don't need to worry about that.

I went out to the yearly Italian Car meet at XXX root beer in Issaquah on Sunday. Sadly there was not the best turn out due to the rain, but this was the first thing I saw as I walked up. Awesome, a Pantera! Wait a second, wtf is going on with the front end...... DEAR GOD WHY Sadly I didn't get a picture with the headlights up, which had been swapped for the "sleepy eye" style you see on so many miata's and rx7's. I had to wait for the owner to leave before taking pictures, in fear that he would have tried to talk to me. Of course he was a middle aged guy who had a bluetooth ear piece in the entire time. There was also a Lada Riva(that can just be seen in the top left of the first pic) there which made me laugh, but I guess its basically a russian built Fiat, so it belonged.
