Dyrus did the same gesture that got Kevin Durant fined 25,000 in the NBA. Do you think they'll make him forfeit his prize winnings for the controversial THROATSLASH?

Happy for TSM, as crazy as it would be for GGU to pull out the win, TSM really earned that win and the championship. Dyrus and TheOddOne in particular were really on-point in that last game, some really impressive Cho'Gath play. But drat, if I had been told GGU would take second place in this tournament at any point throughout the LCS, I would never have believed it. They've grown a lot, and they should be really proud of the fight they put up.

I'm just sad the Caitlyn flash-over-team-run-out-of-base to lure TSM back didn't work :( The end of that game was very silly, happy to see GGU taking their lose in good stride.

GGU didn't really have a way to deal with Reginald's TF. They wanted to really go for picks with Blitz if possible, but TheOddOne was great as blocking for the team. In a straight up team fight, TSM had the upper hand with Rumble/Sona/MF ults, and Cho disruption. Once TSM got a slight lead, they could use Regi to dive toward the AD or AP, stun, Zhonya, then force a HUGE fight. The real turning point was the dragon fight where TSM got back in the game, then snowballed it out of their control since Regi shortly after got lich/Zhonya.

Enough of this nonsense. You are an important mayor and this absurd contraption has wasted enough of your time.
Rumbling is that if Dig and CLG get relegated, they are disbanding. It's kind of crazy to think of the pro lol scene without CLG since they were one of very first. As unlikable as I find CLG to be, it would still be sad in a way. To use the dumbest metaphor possible, it's like when a long time wrestling villain retires. Everyone hates that guy, but you can't have good hero's without good villains.

As a small but :3: note, TSM And GGU went out and had dinner together. I am glad that in the post game interview TSM gave a lot of props to GGU and I really hope this gets GGU some god drat sponsors. Summer split is going to be god drat crazy if the rookie's keep playing like they have been!

Regi is donating almost $3,000 to charity because of his deaths this tournament, so he can't be all that bad. At least he isn't like HotshotGG "They're so bad. They didn't beat us, we just lost" :v:

Congratulations to TSM and GGU. Although GGU didn't win, it showed that like Dyrus said, there's no top 4 and bottom 4. Only #1 and Complexity.

The GGU guys don't get a lot of individual credit because they were at the bottom of the barrel all year I guess but Zionspartan, Daydreamin, and Jintae are all really good at their positions. Jintae got outplayed a bit but Zion always won his lane and then made things happen for the team. And Daydreamin has mad hooks.

Even though Jintae didn't make much happen in that last game, I think it was more of him just being the lucky one for Regi's TF team-dives. Most of Regi's ults were right on Jintae or DontMashMe's head, it just so happened more of them were on Jintae than on the adc, so end result is Jintae looks like he's doing nothing.

After his performance in the last few weeks of the season, there's no WAY someone isn't looking to put him on a roster next season. Even if the perception doesn't match reality, the perception is that with a couple more weeks to play with the team that Prolly could have led Complexity out of the wilderness and into the playoffs. He was a really nice analyst though; I don't disagree with you.

Yeah, I was really surprised how well they turned things around. Towards the beginning of the season they were looking pretty outdated, and it was clear that they had to change their play style in order to adapt and succeed. It happened a bit too late I guess, but in the last few weeks of the season and the playoffs, they looked like they matured a ton. They were able to play the map really well, and were really good at knowing where to go and what objectives to take. Glad they found a play style that works for them, I think they'll look really good at the beginning of the Summer split.

Also, backing up the Pr0lly love. That guy is super entertaining, both in-game and on-cam. Hoping to see more of him in any way throughout the Summer!

I am addicted to video games.
I'm guessing the money being a Riot-hired commentator or caster vs the stress and pressure of being a pro player on a second tier LCS team is probably a pretty easy choice to make.

Either you want to risk everything for a chance to be on a world-championship caliber team either through improving or getting picked up by an established contender, or you just want a job doing what you love playing LoL. I know I'd just pick the job, but I'm guessing for a lot of the LCS dudes it's an equally easy decision in the other direction.

CRS- Roster Changes and Internal Problems Cop cant carry, but he doesn't feed. Voyboy isn't as good in this meta, he shines in assassin meta. Nyjacky is consistent, his team fighting is meh.
CLG - Hotshot needs to adapt. Chauster needs to be a solo player, he is not a good jungler. His engages constantly lose games. Link cant carry, hes a consistent player. After watching all of CLG scrims, I think Doublelift is Ok. Aphromoo is OK. Their bot lane is OR.

Wow, so I've finally watched Curse's performance in the playoffs and...

Well, I thought maybe they were loving around a bit the last couple weeks cuz they had already won their bye. But no. Apparently their entire winnability was predicated on Cop picking MF. Who knew? I bet they didn't. I bet they thought they were winning because they were the best, which I guess was true, as long as their ADC was allowed to pick MF.

Pretty narrow win conditions, I gotta say.

Well, I like rooting for them, so I hope they're able to expand their win conditions during the summer split.

It's definitely not just a Reginald thing. Hotshot said all the "We know we're better. We are better, they didn't win we just lost. They're all garbage if we play again we'll win 4 shore" garbage in an LCS interview montage about whoever beat them. I don't know if it's humility, or if they get coached to say crazy stuff, or if they're just kids.

It's kind of refreshing to see honest assessments, but at the same time it's couched in the language of 20 year olds. The "throws games so hard" thing is a useless statement. You know who else throws games? Reginald. Dyrus. Everyone on every team has thrown a game. Regi diving past the second top tower to try and steal a kill after the GGU baron rush in Game 4 wasn't the "now the game is over" moment, but it was the turning point. You could say he threw that game. Derek Jeter strikes out in the 9th inning sometimes, because everyone strikes out.

I want to think he just uses the persona as a popularity thing to polarize people but I don't really care enough either way. I feel like if you feel strongly about players for things other than their playing ability once they're being paid it's silly either way.

Reginald is specifically good at making risky plays and having them convert sometimes. If they work well he looks like a genius/lucky rear end in a top hat and if they don't work he looks like a dumb/raging noobhole. I think his team does well with his playstyle but also TSM could use not having him being a team manager as well and maybe a more level headed play caller but hey it's their team setup.

I think that no team should have an active player in charge of roster management, but it's not like teams are getting enough purse to get a person to do that full time or even possibly part time. FWIW I think the WildTurtle roster change was a good idea, not just in retrospect.

Not sure about that, apparently solomid.net is worth a few million dollars. They can afford a lot on that kind of money. The weird thing is though that it can just all go up in smoke if they don't win and their fans disappear.
