Ironically that colour scheme DOES appear in the film for a bit, but in the 1950's. But I'm sure that they didn't pick up on that and were going for a Drive scheme instead.

Van Helsing gave that vampire a muzzle-stache! Also, I would totally watch an animated show in that style. Preferably animated on the cheap ala Angela Anaconda.

Paul Allen posted:I'm genuinely curious as to why. A push, even a decent one, will simply shove you into a very slightly lower but just as stable orbit. Picking someone up from that would probably be pretty simple, actually, as long as you didn't wait too long, since the thrusters on a maneuvering pack could exceed most any shove you could get over time. To de-orbit you need to undergo continuous sustained thrust to get you low enough to brush the atmosphere and then let friction keep slowing you down.

This is so bad that I actually would buy a print of it (well assuming it was ten dollars or less). This is the only poster in this thread that just made me lose my poo poo. I'm hard pressed to pick my favorite thing going on, but Doc Brown's facial expression is certainly in the running. It's like someone captured his face when he was shown the poster he would be in.

Criminal Minded posted:I'm pretty iffy on the film itself, but my god are the opening credits astounding: There is a line from a critics review about the movie that calls the opening "an explosion at a font factory". I couldn't have put it into better words. I can never get enough of the rotating detail used on Paz's title card due to the record scratch from the music. EDIT: The settings for the video gives you an option for speed. I never see that option on youtube. Terminal Entropy fucked around with this message at 07:29 on May 10, 2013 |
