Those visuals are loving crazy. Reminds me of when Shoshanna projects herself in the movie theater at the end of Inglorious Basterds. I'd probably be freaked the gently caress out if I was just walking by a building and saw that come on. Song sounds good, though. I'm sure the studio version sounds way better.

I'm happy he's keeping it close to the vest this time because it means literally every track is gonna blow me away when I listen to it.

Yeah, I remember MBDTF leaking as an edited version first so it was probably an error of Amazon's that led to it's leak. Remember that Watch the Throne didn't leak and was iTunes exclusive in its early stages of release iirc. I'd expect the same for I Am God or whatever it ends up being titled.

Pretty clever releasing this way. Project it in the real world and make it an event; An actual high-quality copy of the single never has to touch the web. People still watch the low-quality rips and you do less damage to album sales.

I went to one of the showings. They had a pickup truck with a projector and a PA system and threw it up on a building downtown. Played it twice through. Maybe 20-30 people there. Fantastic promotional stunt I imagine this would be a bit frightening if somebody walked by a more empty projection without knowing who Kanye was, especially given the aggressive nature of the song. The bits where he's just staring off into space are certainly a bit unsettling

Feeling it, hope it's emblematic of the rest of the album. Is this supposed to be what he's debuting on SNL tomorrow? I can't see him self-censoring this joint but I guess we'll see. Usually artists do two tracks on SNL too, will be interesting to see what we get.
