I am reading a short story collection by F. Scott Fitzgerald and one of the characters in a story was sucking a lemon. Googling only reveals the idiom "go suck a lemon" - is that a fashionable thing to do in United States back in the 1920s?

There's a comic out there where one guy is in an interview. This guy spouts off like 50 different buzz words like, "team cohesiveness efficient six sigma integration synergy" There's like a word count of "buzzwords said" vs "actual things said" and the end result is that...he's fired. What is this comic please? My workplace is full of people who talk about team building, integration, subject matter experts, project managers, and stakeholder buy-ins and every time they say that I imaging a giant cock in their mouths.

One place I applied specifically asked that we use http://www.typingtest.com/ but they're all pretty much the same, it's not going to matter. Your typing speed will be different based on what you're typing and when you're typing it anyway, so a rough estimate is all you ever get.

They will understand you, but maybe you won't understand them. It's not too different overall, Moldova and Maramuresh(northern part of Romania next to Ukraine/Hungary) probably have most difference from standard Romanian(that is used in pretty much entire south of Romania).

In my experience, as long as you can hit about 60 words per minute, you're going to be qualified for most jobs that have typing speed requirements.

Edit: actually, if you're talking rotary pots there isn't really a spacific name, but there are a lot of types of pots based on different materials. I have a lot of Amazon gift credit and am trying to turn it into real money. I can't transfer it because it's not attached to a physical card or a code, and Amazon won't allow you to buy more gift cards with your credit balance. Any ideas of something I could buy that would be easily resellable for close to its price? I was thinking some form of consumer electronics, like maybe brand-new Chromebooks or something.

Amazon will let you mark something as a gift and send it to someone else so no need to do double shipping or anything.

There are laws that vary state-by-state regarding the sale of alcohol (and eBay, Craigslist, etc. generally don't permit the use of their services for that purpose). Whether you'd get caught, or whether they'd bother enforcing it, is a different question, but I'm not sure it's the best option. Also, Amazon only permits the sale of wine through pre-approved sellers, which reduces the kinds of alcohol you could resell. I'm trying to learn how to properly post an image without getting probated and so have been hesitant to actually submit anything. After reading the BBcodes page I already know some html and it looks about the same just using tags [--a--]xx[--/a--]. When I inserted the page I was trying to link it came up blank. In this case it was img, /img. My question is what should it look like when done properly and is linking something from my hard drive acceptable/possible, or do I need to use a site like imgur but not necessarily imgur?

You cannot link something on your hard drive -- we don't (and shouldn't) have access to that. Upload your image to imgur and use the bbcode copy/paste they give you.

Ever since I installed Adblock Plus, I can't open any junk mail in my hotmail/outlook account, or any mail saved in drafts. I've since allowed ads on the page, and I still can't get any junk or drafts to open on my home computer. Work computer, no issue. What gives? edit: I've restarted Chrome several times, have logged off and on to Hotmail, and now none of my Inbox emails open period.

Also, I guess you mean "without uploading to a third-party site" but you're still uploading it if you attach it to a post, you're just uploading it to Something Awful instead of some other site.

How can I change my hours of peak productivity? Right now I feel like I'm most focused between noon and 9pm, which would be great except that I typically spend 4 or more of those hours doing things that can only be done then but aren't work-related (picking up kids, second job, etc.). It would be super if I could change my peak hours to 9-6, or if I could figure out a way to get into that mindset whenever I want.

Thanks for the quick responses. I figured it might come to sleep, in which case the answer would seem to be "get more" rather than changing the schedule of what I do get. I'm already awake for several hours before I'm fully in gear, so getting up earlier isn't really an option. Guess I'll start cutting out the nighttime attempts at productivity (and associated caffeine intake) in favor of going to bed earlier!
