Here's something you can do right now in Ranked: Pick batgirl, stay max distance and get fireballed until you have 1 bar of meter (or you know, punch them at the beginning), let them get comfortable and then dd3 mb, j2 b12 d2 bf1, 1, mb, d2, bf1, 1, mb, until they die.

Man, Hawkgirl is the most annoying poo poo to deal with as Grundy. His options against somebody in the air and more than 2 inches from him are severely limited. Also, I didn't think that the Sinestro trait change was really that big of a deal with the amount they improved its charge speed and holy poo poo was I wrong.

I just got called a spammer and quit on because I hit Nightwing with Bane's d1 3 times in a row. A new low. This was someone with several hundred matches too (who hidden counter picked Nightwing after I chose Bane). I just started laughing.

So far I'm pretty happy with how Batgirl plays, coming from doomsday it's kinda weird to have so many options when fighting. I don't think anyone blows up zoners as bad as she does at the moment, her teleport doesn't do much damage but you can do it on reaction to almost any ranged attack. Her low/overhead game seems pretty good too.

Batgirl Midscreen Combo Compendium Just like I did with Green Lantern, I've put together a fairly comprehensive list of Batgirl's midscreen combo starters and her best options off of them for varying amounts of meter. Just like GL, this isn't here to tell you how to play her so much, but just to be a reference for what she is capable of off any given combo starter. Unlike GL's list, however, Batgirl has very different corner combos from her midscreen options, but as I have yet to really put time and effort into working on them and seeing if they can be optimized, they're not being included at this time. As usual, I have omitted most combos that are merely one normal string into one special. The exception here is any normal string that combos into dd3, just because it's cool and also a meterless untechable knockdown. It's rarely your best option, though, for various reasons. Important Note!! Many of Batgirl's combos can go into d2 XX Bola (bf1). Normally, comboing into d2 is an awful idea because of the additional damage scaling, but in this case the Bola causes additional scaling anyway, the scaling increase doesn't seem to stack, and it allows Batgirl to go into a tricky mixup setup. Any time you land a Bola, you can then do j2, 111. Her 111 string is listed at a ridiculous +22 on hit, allowing her a free shot at a b1 low, b2 overhead, a jump-in, or just to back up if you want to make space for some reason. As such, most of the combos below will first have a max damage variant listed and then have a lead in to this mixup opportunity. As usual, all combos have the damage listed, how much meter they use, and any special notes, e.g. if they don't work on small characters. Finally, note that any combo that gets too close to the corner and uses b3 will have to be modified in some way, but I'm sure you guys can figure something out from there. Edit: I lied, one last note. All damage values assume you are in her initial Blade thingy stance, not the Electric Knuckles stance. With all that said, here's the list. This time, I've bolded the combo starters I think will be most important to her game, as opposed to individual combos.: d1 starter (8f mid, 0 on block, and bf3 is +1 on block and won't MB on block): Her teleport is pretty fair too since it leaves you full screen without meter burn imo. She's basically smoke with an actual 50/50 and options. I'm definitely going to keep working at her.
