Razor I just saw your av in the GKC thread and figured there must be a CQ thread and here we are! I started reading after I watched my friend practically gushing at Gigi at TCAF this year and figured I should probably actually read it after several months of being in my queue and oh my gosh what a cute comic? I'm in love with his colour scheme. It's so gaudy that it rolls over and becomes appealing. Gigi's really amazing with colours.  (I also love his badge, I wonder if she'll ever sell it in the store?)

I like how Noisemaster's unique speech bubbles creates the understanding that he sounds as gaudy and overwhelming as he looks. The reflection of his bright colors on the faces of the audience also call to mind the deep rhythm of a distant pop beat being an omnipresent background noise. The contrast against the warmth of the concert hall, the black silence of the stage, and especially the subdued palette of Piano ("soft"), establishes a really versatile pattern of associating colors with sounds. It even retroactively reinforces the "voices" of the king and ween. Color and sound. Just fantastic. What talent!

Noisemaster is indeed incredibly fabulous. Except for some reason....I can't shake the feeling that I've seen his face...eye....thing somewhere else. I'm really not sure why.
