At 12:17 a.m. MU police spotted Mauk, 19, run a stop sign while driving his scooter east on Kentucky Boulevard - with two female passengers on board.
How did you end up in a different one than me, anyway.

I'm trying to understand the WiS system a bit better, and gauge what makes a team win, generally.

Would this team have any chance in a 100 million dollar league? Even if I played a miserable stadium that killed offense and laughed at homers?

It's hard to say without context. Is that 100m with no other rules? Is there a theme? Sub-.400 slugging is quite bad at 100m in general, for instance, but I don't know if you're restricted on your choices there.

With a pitching staff like that, you ideally want to go to a +++ dinger stadium and load up on dinger hitters, because your pitchers will still never allow dingers. Putting a staff like that in a dinger suppression stadium is suboptimal unless there's other stuff going on.

The Rockies and Rays were the first teams off the board, and both entries were given ones. People are dicks.

My Abreu fetish must be sated

e: the fun part about joining this league kind of late is that with the Rockies and Rays off the board I can't really think of any teams I wouldn't want to take. And actually I would have been somewhat ok with the Rays since Mariners are weak at 3B

I kind of love this random captain team. Currently 80-37. This may end up being my best record ever.

That's awesome, but that's still not the highest i've ever seen. That belongs to a two man band team, i believe it was Ty Cobb, that scored something around 120 runs in a game. It was a glorious box score.

Well you're going to get ZJ who has been hotter than the sun lately, and I'll have AV in the first round. So you know, playoffs anything can happen blah blah etc.

Andre Dawson hit 50 homers in RC. He managed a .261/.285/.500 line despite that.

First one looks the toughest to me, but I haven't gotten in depth on it yet.

In other news my Tom Seaver in random captain ended the season hitting .212/.232/.500. .500 slugging from a pitcher owns.

My RC team. If it weren't for a ridiculous losing streak to end the season, i'd have been well over 110 wins in the season. 105 wins ain't bad though. Some of the ERA's were pushed higher, especially in the bullpen, by the losing in the last 15 games.
