I was left completely speechless by this exchange I just witnessed. She's not joking at all. She doesn't talk about much of anything, on Facebook or in real life, without bringing praising Jesus/casting out demons into it. Apparently Lucifer was the most pimped-out angel ever. I thought that was it, but she's added even more Bible verses and another post about owls since I took this second screenshot. I'm really, really surprised she didn't comment on the other person's marriage equality profile picture. But that might just be because she doesn't yet know what the red equal sign thing stands for. I think this second one is making GBS threads on Baptists for totally being freemasons or something? I have no problem with religion and am a theist myself (albeit a waaaaay different kind), but this woman is straight-up loving crazy. I don't know how you can get to adulthood and still believe that there are witches who literally turn into owls because of EVIL. (What do they even do in owl form? Sit on branches and look cool? Eat shrews?) Also, I'm kind of curious how the gently caress she would know exactly what the "mark of the beast" looks like, but I refuse to ask.

Not removing names because gently caress that. Worse yet the OP is working towards becoming a police officer. I gotta say though, I reported that last comment and literally within seconds Facebook let me know that they had removed it and messaged him saying that it was inappropriate. Good job Facebook!

If you're asking about the use of the word "pink", that comes from the slang "pinko" which basically means "socialist." Pink is a lighter shade than red, and socialism is a lighter version of communism.

They were in the news lately because a member of theirs heckled Obama during a speech about Guantanamo Bay. Given that they are an anti-war organization, it's pretty obvious why a racist POS would call them an anti-American hate group.

Background: In the first game of the Eastern Conference Finals last night, a Pittsburg player made a big hit on a Boston Bruins player, and got a big penalty because of it. If you look at his Twitter, it's full of backpedaling and apologizing after the fact, but then he goes back around to being proud of it because now he's "internet famous," or something. I guess he also got booted from his lovely local band: http://www.torontosun.com/2013/06/02/angry-tweet-about-bombing-after-cooke-hit-causes-band-to-fire-singer

Particularly, look at the insanity of brown and grey: I love it when people reveal themselves to be huge, self-important dicks that don't actually know the issue. Especially when they backpedal so fiercely because they know they've been figured out to be condescending only because they think you're female. I thought I was an idiot through most of college because my "smart" friends and classmates often condescended horribly to me, regardless of my work or thoughts. Weirdly, the only woman I ever met with that kind of bombastic, bullshit conservative (for some reason it's either libertarians/conservatives or atheist socialists that still manage to be socially conservative and privileged who behave this way) elocution was also a huge Rand fan. Make of that what you will, I guess.
