Cool Buff Man posted:He's been on B.o.B cornball status for a while now This too is wrong. B.o.B makes some of the most corny pop rap of all time, next to Nelly. Neither J. The ODB one isn't too similar in terms of production but ODB's half(fully?)-crazed delivery is something that I was really reminded of the first time I listened to Exmilitary. A track like Raw Hide in particular is one that really reminds me of the way MC Ride delivers. Plus Return to 36 is a brilliant album in its own right, definitely worth checking out.

What about people who love Nigga Please>? Early Neptunes, clearly coked out ODB. It's a hard album at some level, I'd also say it's the predecessor to Lil' B and whatnot. Think about the first track: Recognize. "This ain't no commercial song" RIP RUSSELL!
