He was the biggest heel when he unmasked Captain New Japan and put the mask down his pants. Hopefully he goes after Tiger Mask soon.

And the mercy seat is awaiting,
And I think my head is burning,
And in a way I'm yearning,
To be done with all this measuring of proof.
An eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth,
And anyway I told the truth,
And I'm not afraid to die.

Why? The original Misfits were awesome and extremely influential. If you're just thinking of the late 90s non-Danzig version then yes, they are lovely.

In regards to all of this fedora talk, the only time it is acceptable to wear one is if you are a detective in a film noir story. If you are not, then you are a dork and look like an idiot.

MassRafTer posted:

The Misfits have successfully merchandised themselves to a point where it just seems like it would turn off a guy like Punk.

That is because of Jerry Only and everyone knows he is a douche.

I honestly hope not; as hard as I would mark out for it, keeping away from the Business is probably the best thing he can do for his body and his mental state.

I can certainly see how WWE Superstar CM Punk would be turned off by excessive merchandising. :v:

Besides, it's not like this is anything new. I went through my "punk rock discovery" phase around 1991, and there were a metric fuckton of Misfits t-shirts to be had even back then. And that was something like eight or nine years after the band had broken up.

E: for content, here's another "Punk wearing an 'Earth A.D.' shirt" pic.

He did have a move he called the Devil Lock DDT, and the Devil lock is the hairstyle Jerry Only "created" and used on stage for the Misfits.
