Bill Hader looks like he face-melded with Timothy Olyphant here. I actually had to imdb this movie to figure out which of the two was in this. So gently caress you, poster, for making me do research into the poo poo movie you're hawking.

I saw the poster last night in person after watching "Now You See Me" (Man, no wonder the movie poster is a ripoff of Ocean's 11... the movie follows suit), and as I walking up to it kept hoping it wasn't actually Aubrey Plaza.

What has she done to deserve this? Was it made 5 years ago?

Well let's not be too overly harsh on the movie; regardless of its quality, it's not a 'ripoff' of a specific movie as much as it is a member of that overall heist genre, but with magic thrown in (and an arguably terrible twist ending).

Is that by Alex Ross? Cause Alex Ross is pretty much the only comic book artist I know besides David Gibbons (is that even right), and the Mondo poster is giving me a strong vibe of his work.

Looks like Alex Ross to me. The Mondo poster isn't giving me a Ross vibe apart from the copied pose, though - that looks more like Adi Granov.

I like Alex Ross's Superman because he's still got a circus fabric thing going, not the idiot joyless plastic/rubber look from most modern versions of the character.

He is, and I know this because as a child, that's the first thing I noticed on the video cassette box (same illustration as that otherwise dark and gloomy poster). Having never seen the movie, it confused the heck out of me then and confuses the hell out of me now.
