You might need to do the boil-and-freeze trick to get them into the proper shape, but they'll be fine. Most of them probably won't even need that.

Every time I read a post in here about a shipping order I get sad, but then I look at the shipping tracker, see thousands of orders left, and remember that the reason mine hasn't shipped yet is that I'm getting SO MANY MINIS. Got mine tonight. Opened up Cthulhu and Kaladrax first. They are so immense and impressive, it makes the rest of my order look puny in comparison. Cthulhu in particular is fantastic, the sheer heft and detail of the sculpture.

I think they're sort of all over the place, really. I was watching the counter yesterday, and each order would bump the number of line items by anywhere from 8 to 14. I suspect they're shipping at, say, 11 distinct line items, but regardless of how many total items in the order. So, like, vampire + 2x giants would be two line items for shipping timing, but obviously three line items for realsies. Maybe.

I thought I got 11 items and was sure today was the day... turns out whoops, I ordered 16. So to pass the time I'm thinking about how to actually going to use these things. The original plan was to use them as DnD minis and painting practice, which still holds true. But the new plan includes using a bunch of them as proxies for out of print Descent minis. And during the kickstarter I thought the NOVA corps guys were a waste of space, but now I can use them as Infinity proxies. I still have no idea how I'm going to use the "zombie hunters" stuff, every game I've played that thematically suits those minis has been awful. Any suggestions?

I had the ticker going on a separate screen for most of last week, and I didn't notice any international shipments pop up. Compare to 2 Fridays ago when it was basically all Canada all day. I thought I read that they were going to handle international orders this past Thursday or Friday, but it seems more likely that they just didn't ship any.

Might consider adjusting the price of Nethyrmaul down. Reaper changed him from $75 to $40. Granted, you'll have 'em before retail, but I dunno if folks are going to be willing to pay an extra thirty-five bucks when the difference is likely to be a few weeks.

Got mine today. It is SO CASH MONEY. Kaladrax is just ridiculously huge, I totally believe the story of a mangled communication about scaling between the computer mesh and the production facility. The models definitely hold a lot of detail, but they are pretty flexible. I'm going to have to hot-water trick a few floppy daggers and leaning skeletons and stuff. Big C is pretty cool, too, and goes hand-in-hand with his little Star Spawn buddy.  Already threw some drybrush on a couple of the translucents and it really makes them pop.  e: lesbian ghosts
