Leveling up I have been using http://rift.junkiesnation.com/2012/11/25/storm-legion-cleric-leveling-guide-the-energizer/ (which was mentioned earlier in the thread), which pretty much handholds you from level 10 to 60. At level 43 I constantly pull multiple mobs for the AoE, quickly getting through quests or clear as I farm nodes.

Cleric endgame DPS right now is adequate. You won't be topping the charts, but you can do enough to fill the role. It's also worth noting that Clerics are next on the list after the final mage changes and will probably get some nice boosts/reworks.

I've never played cleric in endgame and don't even particularly like how the class functions from what I have, but I would really like to see them get some love in the DPS category. Playing a paladin in Cata made me sympathetic to any class that should be able to DPS well but can't.

I think (and I am not a good rift theory crafter) that 58/18 and 51/25 are the important archon specs to have around (with 51 winning if you don't have space for 58). If you archon a lot get the 40/36 for use with Beastmaster's, otherwise its useless.

What's worked for me is loading up fiery spike first, then the rest of my builders until the target is fully dotted up. Once all the dots are on, then I throw on the snare with the +damage taken, so as to maximize its effect. My finishers have been refreshing fiery spike, so I am able to leave it out of the rotation after the start, unless it falls off somehow. I might not be doing it correctly, there may be a way to squeeze even more DPS out of this build. I think I prefer the style of rear end a little bit more, but I can't argue against the numbers I am getting out of NB.

If I want to tank while I'm levelling do I need actual tanking gear or will my DPS gear see me through if I use a decent tankspec? Second question; is there any soul/macro setup I should use for optimal warrior tanking in the same way this exists for warrior DPS?

Your regular gear will do well enough, but it's not uncommon to start eventually finding things with high endurance/dodge/whatever on them which you can grab to help a bit.

I'm debating picking up armourcrafting or weaponcrafting but if I'm never going to use or sell it, there's not a lot of reason to bother. I can't really get more specific than that because it's way different for each profession. I mean honestly if you want easy money just go triple gathering. The other stuff is useful because you can break your own stuff and make your own poo poo but nothing crafted is BoP so you can always get someone else to make you stuff.

So I got my warrior to 60 at 3am this morning. Got into an expert a few hours ago(AoF). I topped the charts in AoE and ST melee damage. However, I came in second when it came to ranged dps. My gear is BiS crafted helm, ring*2, polearm, belt, and with a bunch of other gear ranging from level 54 to 58. Got conquest base trinket and level 60 essences in my focus 39str 19ap ones in all slots. I guess I need to work on my tempest rotations, but I always find there is about a .5 second wait between getting all my combo points and waiting for one of my finishers. Also, should I be using both the channeled abilities or just one? I know one is for AoE and the other st. Edit: I'm using all the DPS builds in the OP. Got conquest base trinket and level 60 essences in my focus 39str 19ap ones in all slots. it's not really much help if you don't post a st/aoe dummy parse, but you're missing a couple of things. the crafted polearm, while having lots of crit power, has lower weapon dps, which is an immense dps loss compared to any level 60 weapon (from normals or experts, world gear, anything). this is why it's easier to dual wield, as the mainhand's dps is what matters so the offhand can act as a statstick and you can get an offhand with crit power and not worry about the dps on it. you're also misisng the bis essences which is a big dps loss (critpower epics/relics from venerated torvan + lycini, and the crit power/ap essences from the death/life raid rifts and blues from torvan/lycini rep before you get those) and a ton of non-crafted pieces by the sound of it. here is the BIS gear list for warriors. you want to concentrate on crit power over AP (except for weapons), and the stat priority goes something like this: WEAPON DPS >>>>>>> crit power >>> ap > strength > phys crit > dex which means you should be runing crit power on your boots, ap/dex on your chest and str everywhere else. Yes, any amount of points purchase is enough to remove the limitations, even the $5 option (you get 2 loyalty per credit you buy, and 2 loyalty per credit you spend, and you need 1500 loyalty to unlock the account). As I understand it, with Rex you do not receive the loyalty until you apply the credits to your account, so whoever uses it, not who buys it, gets the loyalty. In that case, it seems much more efficient to buy credits directly and then gifting items to people for plat. They don't have to drop 1000p to buy a whole REX and you get loyalty and more credits/$ to sell to people. Patron store discount probably required to compete with other sellers.
