It's the sort of car where it doesn't matter than it's automatic and FWD. Along with the styling and digidash and TURBO XT, it just adds to the weird sort of 80s pseudo-futuristic appeal.

There are so many lovely shortcuts that people take with swapped cars that I wouldn't touch one with a 10 foot pole. And people tend to swap the motor and leave the body & interior in crappy condition.

My first car was one a lot like that. Mine was blue on blue like that but I had 4wd and no turbo. No space shuttle dash either. I loved that car. Best interior ever. At the time it was kind of expensive to keep running mostly because the air suspension was a motherfucker to fix and find parts for. I finally had everything running tip-top and then crashed it in a moment of youthful stupidity. One day I'll have another.
