Detective No. 27 posted:http://www.siliconera.com/2013/07/17/pokemon-rumble-u-launches-in-north-america-this-august/ Looks like Pokemon Rumble U will come out stateside at the end of August. Each figure will cost $4 and the game will be $18. What exactly do the digures do? Isn't the core of the game that you're collecting alot of those pokemon-toys by the truckload? Also I guess this game sells, but holy poo poo, it's incredibly boring. Even at 18$ it sounds like way too much of a stretch.

The figures just allow you to unlock a specific pokemon straight away and store info to it, they're pretty weird but totally non-required. I expected it to be $15 though, I wonder why it's 18 instead.

To make up for the delay, Rayman Legends is going to include about 40 of the levels from Origins remastered in the new engine. http://www.gametrailers.com/side-mission/56980/rayman-legends-gets-more-game-with-remastered-origins-content

With this and the D&D Game (Among others), what takes the devs so long to get this stuff out? Is the WiiU really that much of a hassle to work on?

Wii U Discussion - Costs less than Earthbound on Ebay I can't tell if Nintendo is GOING to hype Earthbound once its available on the eShop or if this is just a really silly way to drum up word of mouth support.

Or you can just buy the Japanese version for in brand new condition. Because even in the English version they spoke some weird latin language and you just need a cut scene translation. There is however a few groups trying to find/re-create the source code. So far many people have gone out of their way to find really old computers that were used at sega because they didn't delete the hard drives it seems. That and plowing through the sega stations that were once used at Disney resorts. Also tracking down older/former sega employees. Chances are the soruce code will probably turn up sooner or later, weirder poo poo has come up by looking this way. The Primal Rage arcade game is also another oddity like this due to all the wird system protection settings they used, which is why no arcade perfect port exists for home consoles. They have gotten pretty close though to finding how to unlock the machines. The Taint Reaper fucked around with this message at 16:25 on Jul 18, 2013 |
