What exactly do the digures do? Isn't the core of the game that you're collecting alot of those pokemon-toys by the truckload?

Also I guess this game sells, but holy poo poo, it's incredibly boring. Even at 18$ it sounds like way too much of a stretch.

The figures just allow you to unlock a specific pokemon straight away and store info to it, they're pretty weird but totally non-required.

I expected it to be $15 though, I wonder why it's 18 instead.

To make up for the delay, Rayman Legends is going to include about 40 of the levels from Origins remastered in the new engine.

For the whole duration of the trailer I thought this would be a 10-15€ digital game, not a boxed release.

With this and the D&D Game (Among others), what takes the devs so long to get this stuff out? Is the WiiU really that much of a hassle to work on?

It's not actually on there, it's just in the update notice for whatever reason.

EDIT: In Australia, mind you. But I will crosspost this from the eShop thread: http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/82s5n1dbV4gstayVNhVYtOneSXTIXACS

seems Pikmin 3 is moving some Wii U sales comparable to NSMBU which is great because more people need to experience Pikmin.

It certainly looks like the sort of game that a lot of potential Wii U buyers would have been anticipating.

Or you can just buy the Japanese version for :10bux: in brand new condition. Because even in the English version they spoke some weird latin language and you just need a cut scene translation.

There is however a few groups trying to find/re-create the source code. So far many people have gone out of their way to find really old computers that were used at sega because they didn't delete the hard drives it seems. That and plowing through the sega stations that were once used at Disney resorts. Also tracking down older/former sega employees.

Chances are the soruce code will probably turn up sooner or later, weirder poo poo has come up by looking this way. The Primal Rage arcade game is also another oddity like this due to all the wird system protection settings they used, which is why no arcade perfect port exists for home consoles. They have gotten pretty close though to finding how to unlock the machines.
