It's kind of hilarious how similar Jirou is to Mansam. Not only are they both constantly drunk, but they have the same backstory now. Joa being Frohze was not really surprising, but those scars on her face are. Did she use Taste Change on herself?

And story-wise the good guys need Jirou because they're getting overpowered by the Bishokukai and Neo. Though I didn't expect Jirou to be so ridiculously overpowered, compared to current standards.

So.... We all know the final bosses are going to be stronger than Jiro, so Toriko will have to top that eventually. What's he going to do? Do a leg knife so strong that he cut up the planet? And then Komatsu cooks it back together, thus together they are the new gourmet gods. Also I can't believe Jiro is so much stronger than Setuno. Setsuno might actually be the fifth-strongest person in the world. The gap can't be that large; she was able to partially block an attack from Frohze, so she can't be that much weaker than her, and I doubt Jirou is going to curbstomp Frohze. I seriously cannot stop laughing at how in the manga about cooking, an old dude whose specialty is hitting things' pressure points apparently just hit the pressure point of the entire planet and stopped its rotation for a moment. I guess Coco's full potential could be poisoning everything on the planet (though he wouldn't want to do anything remotely close to that). Alternatively, his full potential could just be something like combining the lightspeed spear with a much more fast-acting version of the adaptive virus, and being able to use it a basically unlimited number of times; he doesn't need planet-scale attacks to be absurdly broken. Am I the only one who thinks "frohze isn't the real one of legend? I'm guessing someone found knife and is impersonating her. If not, it opens the possibility of Acacia still being alive right? Considering the ridiculousness of people skills "oh hey, lets just knock the entire planet", its not that much of a stretch to think acacia is still alive and kicking at this point. On another point, i'm curious why all their pets went to jirou and showed up with him.

Why that's easy, and its already been spelt out for us, its Master Saiseiya Mohyan Shaishai, hes revitalized and taken command of the deceased corpse of Frohze-sama. This is the only way he is able to use "Cinderella", by piloting Frohze's corpse. Oh, and Joa has only partial access to Frohze's memories, this will be important later. Yeah the two things we know about the character are that they know the personality-changing cut and they're evil-Frohze. Considering the properties of the kitchen knife "Cinderella", as well as the actual story Cinderella, it might not be too bold to theorize that the knife can cut you into the image of Frohze. It could end up being that the person is in fact Joa, who may have lived during the time of Acacia and Frohze, who took her knife, and then changed his/her features with said knife. It would strike me as Odd that Frohze would cheat at the first cooking fest, or at the very least, get caught cheating at the first cooking fest. For all the secrecy as well as the blatant "saw that coming" moments, Joa's character remains fairly interesting. As far as Acacia still being alive is concerned, I'm not so sure. It could just be that when they go to extract god, they actually go to heaven and see Acacia as well.

Why is this manga so enjoyable, oh my God. I used to laugh at this and now it's almost the first update I check for everyweek. I'm definitely enjoying this big watershed arc much more than Naruto's end-of-manga arc, and that's not because Naruto's is bad or anything.

What can the next few chapters do to top this? The bad guy's secret identity has been revealed though, and according to convention that means it's time for a dramatic exit. I'd imagine that the Bishokukai would retreat as well.
