I'm trying to make an account for this because I liked PSO1, but I keep getting an error message 25 when I try to make an account. Kind of gave up after getting the same error message repeatedly. That's a good point, and I can't believe I overlooked it. Fair enough, then. Anyway, I'm assuming the reason there aren't more katana and bow options at the moment is that they're still working on the art assets. You kind of pity their art department when you try to imagine the kind of hours they've had to have been working on modeling, texturing, lighting, and animating all the new assets.

While I can't CONFIRM it, this almost sounds like something that might have a rollback of some sort coming with it. EDIT: Of course, the translated version of it mentions nothing about a rollback so.. take it as you will. I'd figure in this sort of game that would be in big, red letters.

The slow part is unlocking all the different COs and whatnot. Once you have one class to 40~45 you can level everything else up pretty quickly due to being able to blaze through a large amount of COs at a time, and generally you'll have more +XP tickets to use while running Emergency Quests.

Most of the early slog is just unlocking CO stuff rather than the missions themselves. It opens up so much more as soon as you're allowed to play Hard.

For the guy who had trouble with Hans' COs not showing up, they've acknowledged that there is in fact a bug blocking the early Hans COs from appearing for some players: http://pso2.jp/players/news/?id=1900 Apparently it has to do with clearing Koffie's mag license CO without clearing Afin's early CO beforehand.

That's really strange. Another bug they have identified is that Braver Mag will stop functioning when you use an Event Marker in the field, which will cause your weapons to de-equip if your values are too low without it.

I did one today! I have no idea what they are or what it accomplished, but at least one of them was a kill quest for enemies I actually recognized. This mirrors my experience with the game in general.

So the next patch will include pirate costumes and a limited time EQ in Shore called Beach Wars, which is your typical "run around and get points" type of deal. The enemy level in the preview movie is level 50, but the characters are all also level 55, so it may not reflect the actual levels that will appear in the finished version. Some people are obviously concerned that they may not drop high end drops, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Also worth re-iterating: August 6th is the last day for the Chaotic Border Break quest, the Burning Rangers EQ, and all 3 current Bingo cards expire that day as well (well, everything will be there on the 6th but after maintenance they won't). On August 2-4 we will be getting +100% rare enemy appearance rate and +100% rare drop rate, so that will be a great time to do some last minute SW Teardowner farming and to go hunt any rare PAs you may be after. Here's hoping they do some level 60 Falz in the next week, I took a break when it was going on every day and it's the only square I need in the Reverse card.
