Now's probably a bad time to admit I haven't seen Jean Reno in a movie since Leon... I should at least see Mission: Impossible, huh? Lucky for me it's on Netflix.

I thought the comment on a lady having her hair cut short being, like, particularly penultimate in an acting sense kinda insulting to say, Christian Bale thinning down for The Machinist or Jodie Foster acting out a barroom rape in The Accused, and didn't Jodie cut off her hair in that too? "Natalie, NATALIE! Was it hard for you to cut your hair in a Wachowski flick when in the back of your mind, you knew that Lovelace hosed a dog for a movie? NATALIE! NATALIE, OVER HERE! Did you meet Zuckerberg at Harvard, Natalie!"

The bolded word doesn't mean what you seem to think it means. Also, this post is gross and dumb. And as a palate cleanser, here's the poster for that new Zizek movie, The Pervert's Guide to Ideology.

Acting like getting your hair cut off for a movie is some big thing just cause it's ~A WOMAN~ having it done is insulting as gently caress to the actress. It's hair. It'll grow back, and until then she could always wear wigs. It's not some major transformation or anything that shows true dedication to the profession or something.

Helmacron was mocking the idiot who posted that Natalie Portman must have struggled to shave her hair for a role because she's a woman, and that she played a virgin badly in Black Swan because come on guys, we all know she's been around . Let's not forget who the real enemy is: That guy.

In the real world and not the world of internet feminist rhetoric, most people see a woman shaving her head as something "radical" and so it's a risk for any actress to do something like that. Hollywood stars live and die on the public's perception of them, after all. Look at Britney Spears. She must be completely insane for wanting to shave her head, according to public perception. It's a different thing if an actress does it for a role, but god forbid Natalie had wanted to keep her hair like that. scary ghost dog posted:Let's not forget who the real enemy is: That guy.

I guess it's supposed to be a mock Time magazine cover? But that still doesn't make any sense! All you need for a Thor poster is a hammer! It could be any hammer, it could just be a ball-pen hammer with "Please return to Thor" written on the handle, and that would still tell me more of what Thor's about than this!
