they have made conscious efforts to improve the quality of their products over the past few years. this mixer is like 8 years old and not representative of the rest of the behr poo poo i have that just loving works day in and day out. favorite is still that rev2496 tho  srs this thing is like $200 and has dual effects chains and really good reverbs and delays, every parameter is controllable via midi CC and its built like a tank. those are all nice turn+push encoders

does anybody else remember woven? they were around about ten years ago and were supposed to be the american radiohead or something ridiculous like that (they kinda sounded like a mix of radiohead and nine inch nails with vaguely eastern elements). anyway i was just listening to their (very nice) album and i thought i'd look them up, it turns out that they've pretty much been forgotten. google has only 97 results for their album title. this loving postage stamp is the best image of its cover that i could find. it's crazy because i know that they got a fair amount of buzz but they're just gone now.
