I feel like the movie's ending going to be really sad. Either because they completely misrepresent it and have Travers all turned around by Disney's charm at the end, or because they don't and it ends with a woman hating the thing that the movie's built up her passion about.

With that moustache a Hitler movie might not be out of the question. Hell, Gosling's already played the hell out of a neo-Nazi. I'd trust him with a Hitler biopic. "Hitler - From Sketch to Solution"

New, kind of lazy but still creepy, poster for this scary-looking movie, Proxy.

quote:

While walking home from her latest OB appointment, a very pregnant Esther Woodhouse is brutally attacked and disfigured by a hooded assailant. This horrible event seems to be a blessing in disguise when Esther finds consolation in a support group. Her life of sadness and solitude is opened up to friendship, understanding, and even acceptance. However, friendship and understanding can be very dangerous things when accepted by the wrong people.

Why this is a two "volume" film, I have no idea. Lloyd Kaufman said it was done at the suggestion of Tarantino.

That first poster really sucks but that second one is really incredible, so I guess it evens out?

That's Andy Serkis, but you're probably right. He probably has more pull in Hollywood than David Sedaris.

Yeah, outside of the Sex Pistol homage, it also feels a bit like a punk Scorpio Rising, with the leather jacket focus and color scheme.

Close, it's a commercial for Amex where Seinfeld and Superman go to see "Oh, Yes! Wyoming!" at the very end. Patrick Warburton voiced Superman. It's pretty fantastic.
