Well, it was a valiant effort. v vAlso I'm only just now noticing how crazy Lute's cloak is, now that we're seeing it from this angle. I'm digging her design, but then there are few designs in this comic I do not dig.

Yes, and what Mayor Lute said about him fits the cyclical nature of the NK&DM thing. Since the Melody Kingdom is split in two parts, it's logical that the associated DM would be double too. Legato's design is rather conservative for a DM, but he is cyclopean, what with his hair hiding his other eye (or perhaps his lack of an other eye).
