Y'all can listen to the new NIN album in full, but you need to have a Tim B phone or at least iTunes. I was expecting something faster paced after listening to the single. That's not a complaint, I actually like it quite a bit, it's just not what I was expecting. Some of the tracks seem like he took a track he liked from Ghosts, fleshed it out a bit more and added lyrics. Again, not a complaint.

i picked up a cd of andean music at goodwill today because i already had a few that i enjoyed very much and figured that it would also be good. but it wasn't. it was actually very bad. basically imagine generic instrumental andean folk with loving keyboards, electric guitars, and rock drums inserted into it. and the keyboards sound like the default win95 midi soundfont. and the guitar tones are a watery cross between '80s pop and '70s progressive rock. and half the time there's a drum machine instead of actual drums. this cd is from 1998. there's also a cover of the loving theme from the good the bad and the ugly i know that this sounds like the funny kind of terrible but it's just really depressing to actually hear on the plus side i also picked up a giant promotional "making of" paperback for the '95 judge dredd movie so i got something out of my visit

bass plugged into mixer which feeds the sound card. running guitar rig 5 but i think it silly b/c it has exactly one bass amp simulation. still its flexible enough. e: theres subtle stereo on every track but yeah everything's panned dead center p much. i am still coming at it from a dance music background so strong center channels without phasing issues are the rule, especially since everything im doing is so bass heavy Jonny 290 fucked around with this message at 03:33 on Sep 2, 2013 |

makes sense. most bass is left in the center in pop/rock/dance anyway. of course if your playback chain has even small l/r balance issue, especially w/r/t delay...
