Haha, I really hope he plays against us on Saturday. Get wrecked. As for Derdiyok being too poo poo to play for us, I wouldn't agree, he's phenomenal if he plays to his full potential. His issue was that he almost never did and was way too entitled for the way he presented himself, that's why we let him go. As I said, if he stays humble, I'd consider it a good transfer. Plus he is certainly someone you could sub in 15 minutes before the end if we're down and have both him and Kießling on the field. That was always good times, we just hardly ever played with two strikers. Katana Gomai fucked around with this message at 10:55 on Aug 30, 2013 |

It worked pretty well for Milan . I'm not sure what to think of this. On one hand he can be pretty drat good, otoh Schalke is an shambles right now, and he's likely to stir up more poo poo when things don't go too well, which they won't.

Boateng in an interview a couple of weeks ago, talking about Dortmund: "Ich gucke jedes Spiel, ich verfolge, ich gratuliere, ich bin mit Klopp immer noch in Kontakt. Es ist seit dieser Zeit mein Lieblingsverein."

Thank God! After yesterday's game (and Paderborn) I was pretty much sure we'd be a candidate for relegation into the 3. Liga. Bad doesn't even begin to describe it. Bring on the Lorant, I guess? (It will be Matthäus...)

Honestly, if we weren't set the forseeable future, I wouldn't mind that. I think he'd be an interesting option and the bad rep he has in Germany is ridiculous.

Seriously though, I agree that he isn't nearly as bad as he's made out to be. But still, you can't separate Loddar the manager and Loddar the "media personality" or whatever, you're always gonna get both, so I understand that German clubs are hesitant to give him a job.

If "media personality" mattered, Beckenbauer should have disappeared a decade ago.

The Kicktipp is certainly...interesting. Good for me that I didn't bet on the teams I tipped but instead went for upsets across the board! Next up: Schalke getting destroyed by the Levs. In case you were wondering, I do expect us to win the triple this year and I will not hear otherwise. After today we'll be #1 in the Bundesliga and we'll stay there until the season is over. Then the rest will pretty much just fall into place.

Bad doesn't even begin to describe it. But given the wins, you couldn't be faulted for thinking the promotion playoffs were a possibility. That's what's been the most infuriating about Schmidt -- it's completely feast or famine. That kind of play leads to lapses like what we saw against St. Pauli, where a whole game of good work is wasted because they kept playing the same way regardless of the personnel changes; or being completely dominated by Sandhausen in all phases of the game. quote:Bring on the Lorant, I guess?
