They do it because their parents dropped them when they were a baby (or smoked something). I've seen way more RR "conversions" than Bentley in So Cal. For $15,000 you can have one too! (after you bring them your 300). http://intorg.netfirms.com/Cars10/RollsRoyce/2005_rolls_royce_phantom_replica.htm Don't forget to get your accessories here! http://www.300fx.com/ It's a shame really, because I liked the look of the 300 when it came out, but there are more of them with lovely RIMZ, Autozone port holes, and ugly cheap grills than actual stock ones here. I get a wanna-be rapper vibe from them, trying to pretend they have the cars that were rented in the music videos.

You guys can hate on it all you want, I do too, but it is a thing. poo poo, just look at loving Car Domain. Something about the mesh grille and the chunky profile that makes these cars wonderful candidates for the "Baby Bentley"/"Baby Rolls" treatment, usually by people who could never afford anything remotely approaching a Bentley/Rolls Royce, yet aspire to owning such vehicles. And what better way to do that than with a grille swap/badge swap/body kit? Basically, the same mindset that thought Ferrari 355s made from MR2s and 308GTBs and Testarossas made from Fieros were a great idea. Hashal posted:I get a wanna-be rapper vibe from them, trying to pretend they have the cars that were rented in the music videos. This, too. Considering how cars are depreciating assets by and large, you'd think rappers who actually had any sort of money be glad to just rent the damned things and keep banking cash.....eh, who am I kidding? 90s Solo Cup fucked around with this message at 10:19 on Sep 16, 2013 |

Yeah, I bitched about that when I got one. The next month when I was out in SF again they were "downgraded" to UberX cars.

2013 Bentley Continental GT V8 Lease $2,232/month 48-months = $107,136 That's roughly 1/2 the price of the car new, but it could be done by pooling together two or three people's government checks. The only problem is qualifying on the lease when your credit is shot to hell and your bank is also your pawn broker.

Non-Turbo Mk3 Supras and Z32 300ZXs all seemed to share the same bloody fate; riced to oblivion by idiots with poor taste and even poorer attitudes to maintenance. At the very least some were turned into budget drift/track cars, so it isn't all bad I guess.
