edit: ^^^^ All Bass Charge OH combos start with a jab cancel. Use 3P instead of 6K (preferably never use 6K). I'll teach you some really good optimal combos later where you even have choice of positioning. Also, Leon and Rachel are very solid. Jacky is pretty much self-explanatory. A lot of people are apparently having trouble getting any matches on PSN. I'm fairly confident in saying just about all the PSN players are pretty trash. I got a 17 win streak earlier that Mr. Wah broke and after that I got another 20 win streak that isn't higher because I got bored and decided to type this instead.

Hey so at the request of some friends I'm going to bugging Tom Lee with a list of questions about things that they want changed/fixed. The biggest request on the list is the ability to see combos in the combo challenge like in command training(r3). Any requests?

Ok got it for 360 earlier, and man just going through command training with Leon was like taking a trip back to a happier time  I am pretty busy next few days but now I got it and apparently since the online is a lot less poo poo than it was first time around I can see myself sticking with this for a lotttt longer than vanilla, GT: EvilCanadian if anyone wanna add me.

Patch is out: -Improved the matchmaking system to make it easier to match with an opponent when there are many players online. -Costume unlock conditions for DOA5U: Core Fighters changed to match the full version. -Costumes that were previously only unlocked the first time an Arcade, Time Attack, or Survival course was cleared can now be unlocked even by completing previously cleared courses. -Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented progress when searching for a lobby. -Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented progress after fighting in a lobby match. -Fixed an issue that caused players to fly in unexpected directions when hit with certain attacks. Previously, this also caused issues with saving replay data; this has also been fixed for future matches. Ein is slower, but deals more damage. His is much more straight forward, but he's also great at being a rushdown character. Hitomi's been improved in 5U as well, but after three games, these two have started to part ways a bit. Kind of like how King and Armour King pretty much stopped being clones after T5DR, except that Hitomi and Ein haven't gone that far yet. Hitomi is a light character, while Ein is medium, which makes Ein a bit harder to juggle. Leon is pretty much all plus-on-block guard breaks, nasty throws, natural combos, unblockables and air throws, while Bayman is defensive and has better mix-ups and catch-throws. Bayman has pretty much access to every single defensive tool in the game ranging from parries to advanced holds. He's also the only character in the game where if you break his chain grabs, he can put you in a frame trap since he's at frame advantage (Mila lost this ability in 5U). He can also roll in four different directions and has a catch throw from his side rolls. Leon is much more straight forward and offensive and he makes full use of the environment. Both are super heavy, so they're harder to juggle. Both struggle against fast characters, but that is sadly a trend among slow heavy characters in this game.

Played a bunch more tonight online. Got into an online match with someone who has a single bar, and the game was actually playable. The collectors edition costumes were added to the online stores. The swimsuit set, not the J-Pop set. The hit box on Lei Fang's 1P+K is still retardedly huge. I love it, it's like playing old school wolverine.

The DoA community is pretty small and knows each other pretty well since most of the same crew shows up for each major. They were popping off non-stop during pools and finals to the point where the staff told them to turn it down a notch haha. Running pools for them (at Final Round 2013) was a blast though and easily my favorite tournament experience, I got to learn a lot. If this is prima's Japan guide I'm going to have pick a copy up. That Jann Lee is a whole new level of bad. Also be careful with 1p+k she telegraphs that from like a mile away . Other than that good match.
