I was just driving home and saw this very car in Kings Point NY: http://www.madwhips.com/yellow-saleen-s7-twin-turbo/ First time I've ever seen a S7. Didn't have time to pull out my phone to take a picture. I may not care for the styling, but I can't deny that it draws attention like nothing else.

We got it for $7k in Colorado in boxes completely disassembled with a fair amount of "work" that had to be redone properly including a botched engine rebuild that resulted in it needing a new crankshaft. The (very poorly designed) site is basically a tribute to his artistic neglect. Cops are just picky about numbers due to their bureaucratic tendencies. Oh, and I will say 2k-ish for little services here and there, like sending the speedo and clock to an old clockmaker in Germany as he's the one guy who knows how to fix them and weird things like that. Or having some guy forge a new iron ring for the drum brakes.      Drove it on a truck and trailer from Colorado to San Diego.
