Why show Bayern - Hannover on free television when Darmstadt - Schalke is filled to the brim with the stars from the football world.

Dortmund with another incredible match, after the exhausting match against 1860. 2-0 and a red card against Freiburg after the first half. Bayern still 0-0. Looks like we'll be #1 in the Bundesliga for another week.

Don't forget that every team Dortmund played so far is literally the worst team in the Bundesliga. If they play against a proper team like Neapel (and lose Klopp and Weidenfeller and Hummels) they lose.

It's almost always interesting this season when Hoffenheim and their goal difference (now 18-18) are involved.

First half pfui, second half hui. A familiar pattern.

Also, DFB-Pokal third round draw:

pre:
Paarungen DFB-Pokal - Achtelfinale
Eintracht Frankfurt - SV Sandhausen
1. FC Union Berlin - 1. FC Kaiserslautern
FC Schalke 04 - 1899 Hoffenheim
1. FC Saarbrücken - Borussia Dortmund
Hamburger SV - 1. FC Köln
SC Freiburg - Bayer Leverkusen
FC Augsburg - Bayern München
VfL Wolfsburg - FC Ingolstadt 04

Nah don't ya worry! Goal difference is a tie breaker, so running up the score is perfectly legit to stay on top in Week 7.

Of course, it's whose on top in Week 34 that matters. ;-)

It's a variation of the Weserbogenlied with the following lyrics:

quote:

Wo die Weser einen großen Bogen macht,
wo das Weser-Stadion strahlt in neuer Pracht,
wo man trägt die allerschönsten Spiele aus
da ist Werder Bremen, da sind wir zu Haus;
Fußball unser Leben, Werder noch ein Tor;

I gotta say after a handful of games I wish Pep would put Lahm back at right back. He's alright in the center there but he's not great, not as great as Schweinsteiger anyway. And the right side isn't nearly as deadly with Rafinha, which is obvious.

I do like him mixing it up a bit, though.

MuLepton

It's kind of a long story.
I'm pretty sure Lahm will return to the right side as soon as Thiago or Javi are back.

Exactly.

Javi should be back after the international break, you can expect him to start most games.

No question, I just wonder why he's playing arguably the best fullback in Europe, if not the world, in a position other than fullback when he doesn't have to.

Can't really complain, though, I guess. 3-1 win at Man City. :toot:
