Context: It turns out that beloved twitter spam bot @horse_ebooks isn't actually a spam bot at all, but rather an experimental art project that concluded with a link to another art piece by the same people, itself the result of an ARG based around the PronunciationBook YouTube channel. I get the appeal of roleplay. I mean, I play Dungeons and Dragons and Space Station 13... but horse_ebooks roleplay?

Also, from what a bit of Wiki-looking tells me gangsta rap really sprung in the late 80's, rather than in the mid-90's. "It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back", "Fear of a Black Planet" and "Straight Outta Compton" came out between 1987-89, not to mention the fact that gangsta rap and political rap are, in a sense, two sides of the same coin (at least from what I understand).
