Tig is that kid you grew up with that used to be really cool, but as time goes by you realize he has always been a loser, and is now even more of a loser. You keep giving him more chances, but every time you hang out he ends up clogging your toilet or breaking your girlfriends nice dishes or glassware by accident. But the accidents keep happening. Do any of the characters in this show make logical decisions or is it just the omnipotent will of the Sutter-verse imposing itself on its inhabitants to drive the lovely plot? That part with Toric was a loving joke, I love Donal Logue and Sutter is squandering his talent. Also, why does he close everything with a cover and a montage, it always makes things feel so cheap. Having a character like Tig have a pants-making GBS threads moment while people coo "shooby dooby doo-bop" over it just seems insulting. gently caress. Why do I keep watching? I was able to bail on Dexter but not on this for some reason.

Yeah, I dunno, I've said some bad things about SoA in the past, but I've still always enjoyed it on some level. This season is really, really bad in every single way though. Even a buttrock bike chase would be an improvement.

I know were only three episodes in, but is the school shooting going to amount to anything other than cheap shock value? The gun might as well have been used in a random liquor store holdup for all the impact it's had on the main characters.

Also, why hasn't Charming been invaded by a platoon of Marines by now? Think of all the insane gang wars that have broken out and all of the police/Feds who have been killed or mysteriously disappeared. I don't think there's a single resident left who isn't guilty of at least 3 major felonies. I hate when shows explain all that crap away with "Oh yeah, that one cop is crooked." That poo poo has limits, y'know.

Charming is pretty much just a GTA city. You can wreak all the havoc you want and drop as many bodies as possible and you can away clean provided you outrun the cop cars chasing you. If by some chance you are caught by the authorities the consequences will be negligible. Any resident not a gang member or cop serves no other purpose than to be victimized.

I barely watch the show anymore, just "play" it while doing other stuff (like reading this thread) and then laughing at the stupidity of it all. I would feel sorry for some of the talented actors on this show, but gently caress them they are getting paid, and as we all know the joke is on us.
