Are we still posting pictures of pitches we've played on? I can't be certain because I was only 12 or so and this isn't my photo but Im almost positive that I played on this pitch in Garmisch, Germany. I remember the mountains vividly. We played in a little tournament with a few other American military sides and a local team that crushed all of us.

Isn't that really dangerous? I would imagine there's a huge risk of people getting trampled at the bottom. At least nobody else got on, I've been in a big crowd where an escalator keeps feeding people in and it was a scary experience.

Beautiful place, and the Militar community there is pretty small (lucky bastards tough). They also have this place called the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort that's for military folk and the like.
