Yeah, this got it eventually thanks. Though, I still think I'm doing something wrong since L1+R1 didn't make it easier to aim where I was landing since Franklin still moved around all over the place while dropping. He just fell slower, and didn't really get anything else out of it.

Sad as this sounds, the torture scene actually has a lot of, dare I say, "replayability" because of the variety in how things happen:

First time I did it I picked the car battery 4 times in a row because I felt like it would do the least amount of lasting damage to the guy, thinking the gas can would employ fire somehow. In the end, while taking him to the airport, he kept begging to be taken to a hospital while Trevor kept saying he was fine. My second time I picked all four options once to get the 100% completion on the mission, which resulted in a knee smash when I picked the wrench. The drive home focused on the fact that I'd pulled a tooth out so his speech was muffled because of the swelling.

Doubt there will be any actual download or patch, most likely the game is set up to cache and load info just-in-time from R* servers so they can update it as soon and as often as they need.

Whiny baby
I had the best bro hangout with Lamar and Franklin. First I picked him up on Frank's motorcycle, and Lamar was all like, "poo poo nigga, this you whip now? Sheeeit okay then." He hops on and we go down to LS Customs. Lamar and Franklin stay seated on the bike while I mod it up (which looked hilarious), then I head to the garage to get a proper ride. Pull out my blacked out Gallavanter Baller 2 and head towards the bar. On the way to the bar, I overshoot a street I meant to take, and decide to flip a u-turn. I'm being really careful because I don't want my ride banged up. Here's where it gets interesting.

I end up cutting off a lowrider and he rear-ends me, just a little love tap, no real damage to speak of since my car is up-armored. But it sets off a total poo poo storm of Ballas. Four Ballas in the lowrider, and about 20 more coming out of every alley and building in the vicinity. Shooting from every direction. I drive forward and spin sideways to use the car as cover, and get in an Epic shootout. Once all the Ballas are dead, Lamar and I hop back in the car and evade the cops. The whole time, Lamar is busting my balls about how Vinewood I've gotten. We hide in the streetcar tunnel, and Franklin is looking around frantically while Lamar sits stoically and calls me a mark for not trying to outrun the cops. Once the wanted level resets, we go to the strip club, get drunk and get titties, and then I take him home, but not before having to get in another police chase because someone saw me driving drunk.

Just another day in the hood. Man this game is awesome.

Got the last of my nuclear waste, which took far longer than it should because on my first run I somehow grounded my sub clear out of the water. I mean, that thing was totally dry. Decided to celebrate by sailing out to the edge of the world to die. Reached a point where the sub just went into a steep dive. I waited for the inevitable, the alert comes up for catastrophic hull damage, and ... one hour later my sub is still sitting 0.16 miles down in total darkness.

At first my controls wouldn't respond at all, but after a while the propellers worked again, but I was now leaving a trail of solid black rectangles. No way to correct my course, and I don't even know if I am right way up any more. I think I'm in some kind of strange watery purgatory. Ordered a blimp just in case, then checked my stocks to see I'm 50k down on my half million dollar investment in Bob Mulet. Well, what else would you do at the bottom of the ocean?

Tempted to leave it like that, it's the world's creepiest screensaver right now with the creaking and darkness. Reckon I'll see what happens if I bail out though. Kiss me Hardy.

I just wasted 2 hours circling the map on the flatbed train car shooting down helicopters. Really good fun for messing around with all the different weapons. The sides provide enough cover that you can keep going when down to your recharge health and, when you're done, sit tight and the cops'll eventually lose you in a tunnel or something. Easy way to get a really long 5-stars time. Hopping a train makes for a nice dramatic end to car / foot chase too.

Unless you feel a deep and abiding need to buy all of the property, it's plenty. You don't even really need to save the Lester missions except for e-peen status.

You can just tap left and right while holding LT and it'll swap through targets even quicker.

Regarding the Epsilon missions. Do I have to stay on michael for ten days? If I switch off, will it come back to him still wearing the robes or will it do a transition where he's wearing the tennis outfit or whatever? I don't want to have to sit on michael for ten days.

My answer: He likely *would* change clothes if you switch off him. However, you can use the age old GTA tried and true method of time skipping. Just go to the bed as if to save/sleep, let the save screen pop up, and hit B/circle to back out. Repeat 40 times for 10 days to pass. It's still tedious, but a lot less tedious than only using Michael for 10 in game days.

This is my biggest gripe with GTA V so far (aside from the horrible resolution) - the assisted aiming modes make the game WAAAAAAY to easy, while free aiming makes me feel like I'm playing a dude with cerebral palsy.

I have whatever the default aiming option is and its pretty jarring in that for most of the game, the assisted aiming is there. For other portions of the game, it is not.

I have a problem with the reticules, too. The dot is a great pin point thing but its so drat hard to see. Whenever I'm stuck in a point where the autoaim is off, it becomes impossible to target, so I have to turn on the 'complex' reticule. The complex one sucks for the auto aim stuff because its hard to tell the 'center' of the aimpoint.

Finish the final heist and then save the assassination missions until after this. Investing in the related stocks for each assassination mission should net you enough cash on each character to never need to worry about cash again.

Better safe than sorry. I had him up to like 6 days hunting for collectible and decided to mess around with another character, came back and of course he'd changed but it also reset the loving timer. I think R* goofed up and wrote "cumulative days" when they meant "consecutive" because I had to rack up another 10 days after that. Just did it by spamming save game.

I have auto-aim on because the AI is way too drat accurate with their shots and almost never misses, even if I'm driving past at 100mph. I'd use free aim more if you didn't die so easily in the game. Also is there any way to unlock the armoured suit to mess around in the main game?
