I've done unspeakable things to get these cookies. I've awoken things that should not be.

I've gotta explain here. See, I've gone as far as One Mind before, but I would always, always leave one upgrade before that un ticked. Child Labor. I'd never do that. I don't care if I'm talking to beings from another dimension, it's not right to make kids work in factories. But you see, I did all this before using cookie monster. Everything was just a guess, I didn't really know how much each upgrade or building would bring in, and how efficient it was compared to how much it costs. But once you get all those colours, man... it's a different story. You can only follow the Green numbers so long before you run out of quick upgrades, and that blue Child Labor is still there. You mouse over it and see how easy it is to get a boost without messing up the yield from Lucky cookies. After a while, it'll bring in more than it costs which makes the numbers freak out, making it look like just the best upgrade in the world. You're losing cookies not clicking it. What are you doing? Just click the upgrade.
So I clicked it. It didn't make that much of a difference in my numbers, but everything was off now. All the barriers I made for myself on how to play the game were gone. I'm using Cookie Monster already, why not cheat a little? Spawn in a clicking frenzy cookie? Hell, I'm already manipulating this thing. Why not reduce the prices? I already got cookies I shouldn't have. Why not make everything free? At this point, I'm just waiting until I get 50 chips and starting over.

And you're finding yourself grabbing every upgrade and just seeing how big the circle of pointers gets. Because at this point, why bother? Why not just buy everything? Why not join with the grandmatriarchs? Once you get enough chips you'll just reset, start this over. Make a real game out of it, you know? Just with a speedy intro. All this silliness will be behind you.
I have around 600 chips, and I'm up to 5 antimatters within a few minutes. I haven't touched cookie monster, and I haven't touched child labor.
I still feel dirty.

The cost roughly doubles every 5 buildings. At least this has been my rule of thumb. For the exact number, I dunno the formula off the top of my head, sorry.

This formula will give you the cost.

code:

a is the base value of the building, for cursors that's 15.
r is the rate of increase on each new building. In cookie clicker that's always +15%, so 1.15.
m is how many buildings you own.
n+1 is your goal. Technically n is your goal-1, but for ease just substitute the whole thing with your target.

Simplified text version, for plugging into google:

code:

(a(1.15^n - 1.15^m)/(.15)

In your case, the values are:
a = 15
m = 230
n = 240

This gives 2.7808023e+16, or 27.8 Quadrillion cookies to go from 230 cursors to 240.

To be fair, Cookie Dozer is from Game Circus from years ago, which makes casino-ish games. It's a takeoff of their popular Coin Dozer.

I refreshed this morning and where I was getting Frenzy'd Lucky's nearly every time, right now it's more like 1/8th of the time. The time until the next cookie rarely overlaps with the Frenzy length. Orteil maybe tweaked some probabilities.

Got 100 condenders, reset with 322 chips, got to 1 million cookies baked without upgrades in 8 minutes 8 seconds flat. :black101:

(Now to get 1 billion cookies without upgrades, yay!)

Are the dungeons out of beta btw?

It only gave the +100 per object bonus to your actual clicks, not to your cursors. It's fixed now though.

Well, sure, it wouldn't be too difficult to write a script to update your cookie totals based on that. But that sort of defeats the point of cookie clicker, doesn't it? I mean, you should be clicking the cookies.
