God, since serebii himself went to sleep the discoveries thread has opened to "other members" of their community for them to share their "important contributions" and they're all pretty lovely, like "there is no PC in the first town, interesting..." And the next post is "I can confirm that there is no PC as well"  I guess no one can really compete with a dude who shows you like 5 new megas back to back though. Cannot wait till midnight, I'm pretty excited.

Here's a discovery: Not a single Pokémon I've found in the Friend Safari has had its Hidden Ability, despite sources claiming it's possible. I've tried a safari for someone who's currently not playing Pokémon and someone who is. This place is a mystery. EDIT: Another discovery. Even though Electric types are now immune to paralysis, Stunfisk still has the Limber ability. Oh Stunfisk.  Sleep now, more Friend Safari tomorrow. My local GameStop isn't doing a midnight, I've just learned. I'm going to go to Walmart at midnight. I've never had problems doing this other than the clerks being incompetent and wait times, but I figure the worst case scenario is they don't have it or won't sell it, so ill grab an eShop card instead and let fate determine whether I go physical or not.

I preordered from Meijer so I'm getting it at midnight, plus a $5 gift card towards anything. E: ^^ Unknown at this time. The new Kalos Pokemon are around 70, there are a ton from the older games, but no one seems to have caught 720 Pokemon yet. Not that you can since the Pokemon Bank isn't open yet.

You would think that all the starters would get megaevolitions. Right now with how early on the hacking scene is, it's still possible for them to keep things hidden until they decide to release it. That or all they have to do is push down a V1.1 update with new megaevolutions.

Okay, having beaten the second gym, I can say for sure the game has thrown out any sense of what was the previous games' though was natural progression. Snorlax, Absol, Sigilyph, Axew, Bagon all catchable before this. Relicanth, Lunatone and Solrock were normal trainer's pokemon in the second gym. I am really enjoying it, though.
