So sticking a Mr. Mime up in the trade window and having him do his invisible wall routine as some kid shows off his dumb legendaries is the funniest thing I've seen in this game. He's sooooooooo cheerful and stupid looking.

You know Kalos is great, but there are these little detractors that add up to a product that could be far better than it currently is. Really, it feels like the transition to 3D entailed a loss of polish that the Unova games had. So you fire up an orbital death laser to clean off everything and start from scratch  Also, speaking as a Filipino-American posting from a Chinese laptop in San Antonio, Texas with plans of starting a Chespin run in Spanish, how can I up the French on my pronunciation of "Lysandre"?

Last night some Japanese guy challenged me using Xerneas and Mega Lucario and I beat him with mostly Hawlucha. B) ZLSW-WWWW-WWWX-HVMU is the video code because I'm proud of taking down that drat deer.

So let me get this straight: If I evolved my Lombre to Ludicolo before level 47, it wouldnt be able to learn Hydropump, by leveling up or through the Attack Relearner. But if I taught Lombre Hydropump, evolved him and replace Hydro Pump with something else, would he still be able to relearn it through the relearner?

Just met the couple in Hotel Richissime talking about their Ruby and Sapphire (40th and 45th) wedding anniversaries. That's cute. 70 hours in and working on getting all the catchable Pokemon in the game before I work on their evolutions and pre evolutions. Haven't felt this way about a Pokemon game since G/S.

Sooooo so much bitching about "too much Kanto", and a wonderful "I know there is a lot of fanfare at the moment and everyones excited but when things have calmed down a bit, I think Gen 6 will go down as the worse Generation so far, yes even Gen 3 will be preferable. It's a shame after the high that was Gen 5 they then fell so low." I mean yeah there's some weird things this gen, but a lot can be chalked up to a complete facelift of the game into basically detailed N64 level graphics, unique animations for, well, everything (I will never not laugh at Magikarp flopping around or Psyduck clutching its head and toppling over when fainted). And my inner 9 year old is going ecstatic over Kanto in goddamn 3D. I know I'm gushing and probably guilty of what they're doing but in reverse, but seriously this is the most fun I've ever had with a Pokemon game since I first played Yellow a long rear end time ago

Exp share and a free Lucky egg make this the best game they ever made. No grind.  Most of the bad stuff in the game (the plot and being hilariously imbalanced towards exp share not withstanding) has been in the series since forever. We're slowly but surely breaking away from those GBC gameplay conventions, one decade at a time.Though if they're talking about the rival, they're up there with gen 3. Post game rival fight never levels up like in gen 4.
