Is there a rhyme or reason to the icons behind the grenade logo used in the video thumbnails? Most times they're X's but sometimes they're skulls like this one.

dijon du jour posted:Not to mention how much of a pain in the rear end it is that the bottles only come with one pill in them. You're pretty much constantly refilling your prescriptions and running out of medication. Dude was just chugging a bottle filled with pills everytime. I assume the madness thing is ripped straight out of Amnesia or that old Gamecube game where you could play as a Roman and fight skeletons but I like the idea of stuff going more crazy as you go insane.

The bathtub at the very least was ripped straight out of Eternal Darkness. No joke, it's completely identical to Eternal Darkness, down to the lovely Poser model in a default pose in a prefab bathtub. But at least you could take a pills (x) in Schizophrenia, that feature really would've helped keep your sanity at optimal requiem levels in Eternal Darkness.

The skull and crossbones I assume are for lovely Survival Horror, while the koosh bomb icons are for Failed FPS Games. X is everything else. I myself am curious as to what a Putrid Platformer icon would be. Some kind of road sign thing, I guess.

The second time you play SpAce bLasTer, the capital letters spell out "SALT". I'm sure that's very deep in a way I haven't figured out yet.

Suspicious Cook posted:The second time you play SpAce bLasTer, the capital letters spell out "SALT". Salt is identified in many cultures as a ward against evil or misfortune. Hence the practice of throwing spilled salt over your shoulder. The remaining letters are an anagram for 'saber pec'. Taken all together this obviously means that Lowtax missed the crucial bag of salt and muscle sword necessary to beat evil into submission and earn the good ending. The creator of this game clearly thought through all the angles.

I also think it should have just stuck with the Defender clone bits rather than including news articles and the whole 3D bit. Less is more, and all that.

I presume that the good ending is only available if you say 'no' to freeing the game. Though it's probably still a terrible ending quality wise.

The good end is when the Fatal Exception Error dialog box appears.

The bad end is when the game starts playing Dontrel the Dolphin version 1.

Pee-wee followed Chairy's advice and took a pills, and then they stopped talking to him. "Magic Screen! Chairy! Don't you want to be my friends anymore?" He slumped down on Chairy and realized he was all alone.
