I'm not really upset about what they're doing, just disappointed? These are folks that got their start by giving us regular content updates, after all, with the Ink Monkeys columns, so saying it can't be managed feels slightly disengenuous. But like I said, silence is negative, possibly even more negative than even ethereal sex offenders, and that's what gets people to assign all sorts of nefarious motives or schemes to the silence.

The most I saw as an official response was just "No Cross-Forum Drama Plz" from last May and a lot of individual posters bitching about the article.

I was hyped to all hell for Exalted 3rd Edition, but now I don't think that the mechanics could ever excite me, no matter how good, simply because I'm so burned out by their "It's awesome but no details" approach. A lot of the posters on the WW forums really hate the SA forums and blame them for being the reason there are no spoilers, so at least between the actual people on the forums, they seem to think there's some kind of rivalry with it. But that's more of that echochamber stuff, because surely Holden can't have done something wrong or whatever.

In retrospect I slightly regret having thrown in as much as I did for the KS, more because I could've used that money for the moment for things like a higher grade of foodstuffs.
